Staging

How staging works

Push every project to a Weblooks-managed staging URL. Builds run locally, output uploads to a Cloudflare-fronted CDN, every deploy is logged.

The deploy flow#

Run weblooks deploy from the project root. The CLI auto-detects the framework, runs build, uploads the output, and stages the new version under an immutable deploy ID.

Smoke checks and promotion#

Before promotion, Weblooks runs a live-URL probe and checks for the new x-deployment-id header. Only when the probe sees the new ID does the alias flip, which prevents partial deploys from being served.
